I’m Alfredo Retamar. I’m an Argentinian comic book artist. I have participated locally with independent, small-press projects and I´m currently aiming at going one step forward. I believe that the opportunity to work in different environments will allow me to improve the skill set to meet the changing needs and demands of your audience.

 

I have had a strong interest in comic books since I was a teenager. I have always enjoyed the challenge of completing a comic book project and that is why I have started self-publishing some time ago to build some experience and to develop a body of work.

 

I can do character designs, thumbnails & layouts, pencils, and inks. I can finish the pages with halftones (to add some volume) and/or flat the pages to digitally colour them – it depends on the project, of course. I can work in a team. I regard myself as a “constant learner” as I’m always trying to improve my craft.

I have been recognised for my high level of motivation, my problem-solving skills and a willingness to focus on my ongoing professional development. I can write and speak English fluently. I usually get paid through paypal.
